Featuring a patented Electronic Brake System (EBSTM), the CAPPTempo motorized pipette controller increases pipetting accuracy and speed better than comparable serological pipette controllers. When a user is pipetting at maximum speed, the EBS switch at the back of the electronic pipette controller allows them to instantaneously slow down to the lowest speed setting. This smooth, sudden reduction in the operating speed of the motorized pipette controller gives fine volume control, maximizing pipetting accuracy. Tapping the EBS switch again allows the operator to instantly return to the last speed setting of the CAPPTempo electronic pipette controller.

The CAPPTempo motorized pipette controller has six speed settings for aspiration and dispensing.
